Paradigm Outgrew Its Website. Here’s How We Responded.

You may have noticed something’s different with Paradigm. Our website sounds fresher, looks sharper and feels a lot more like who we are today. But the transition didn’t happen overnight. Our creative agency website is the culmination of months of conversation, creation and collaboration.

Now, we’re ready to walk you through it. Here’s your exclusive look at how we got here.

How We Knew It Was Time

Pages of Paradigm's old website.

At first glance, Paradigm’s old website checked all of the boxes. The pages were filled. The buttons worked. It met the basic needs of a digital marketing agency in St. Louis. But if you looked closer, gaps began to emerge.

Sometimes, the navigation was confusing. The “Stories” page could be confused with the “Work” page. Select service pages were hidden behind others, accessible only via search or a singular button. Contact forms took too many clicks to reach.

Plus, the platform just didn’t feel like “us” anymore.

Our last website redesign was nearly eight years ago. In that time, we’d evolved with new branding, new services and new team members. Yet, our creative assets reflected a bygone era rather than the present.

The further we scrolled, the firmer our resolve became. Simple updates wouldn’t do. We needed a new creative agency website altogether.

Where We Started

Paradigm team members meet in a board room.

We started where every good website begins — with conversation.

Strategists, copywriters, designers and developers gathered around the table to look at our site with fresh eyes. We walked through the site page by page, asking the same questions we would ask of any client.

What’s working? What’s getting in the way? What story is this site telling?

Amid the exchange of ideas, a clear vision for the future emerged. Our discussions revealed what our new site could do better in messaging, design, functionality and strategy.

Ultimately, our team solidified the goals for the redesign:

  • Implement Paradigm’s updated branding across the site.
  • Lead with the “why” behind our work, not just what we offer.
  • Showcase our client projects prominently.
  • Boost visibility through an updated SEO strategy.
  • Make conversions feel simple and intuitive.

What We Built

From there, we got to work. Conversations became concepts, which then became pages. Our team built a new platform piece by piece — eventually resulting in the creative agency website you see today.

Strategy

Our strategists started by mapping the journey users would take through our site — considering points of discovery, form submissions and everything in between.

To attract new prospects, our strategists developed a modernized SEO strategy — identifying local and service-based keywords that would expand our reach. But funneling traffic was only half the battle. Our strategist also revised our site architecture, creating a structure that was comprehensive but never overwhelming.

Copywriting

With a strategy solidified, our copywriters asked themselves: What do prospects of a digital marketing agency in St. Louis actually want to hear?

Marketing is an investment, so users need a little convincing. As such, our copywriters focused on website content that would provide context. “Why” statements quickly established the value of each service. Client workpages demonstrated how we reach results. Finally, FAQs addressed any remaining objections.

Structured storytelling helped users understand exactly what to expect — and feel confident making a call.

Design

Inspired by storytelling, design focused on a simple idea: Paradigm is a blank canvas colored by its work.

To bring this idea to life, our designers established a sleek black-and-white foundation for our creative agency website. This intentional simplicity kept users focused on what we do and who we do it for. Color speckled each page strategically through the use of client photography, text highlights and custom icons.

This website design leveraged vibrancy as a guide rather than a distraction — establishing an exploratory experience that keeps users moving.

Development

Strategy, storytelling and design were complete — leaving the rest up to development.

Through WordPress, our website developers turned creative concepts into an intuitive, public-facing platform. Some elements were standard, including ADA compliance measures, anchored forms and hamburger menus. Other features — such as line animations, parallax highlights and rollover effects — were completely custom.

How Our Creative Agency Website is Faring

Paradigm’s creative agency website went live in February 2026. And just one month in, it’s already making an impact. Our strategists recently reported:

  • 38.5% Increase in Total Users
  • 33.5% Increase in Sessions
  • 8.7% Engagement Rate (Top 75th Percentile for Marketing Agencies)

As a digital marketing agency in St. Louis, we’re proud of the promise our platform shows. But even moreso, we’re proud of the team that made it possible. This website is a reflection of their creativity and commitment — and a reminder of the extraordinary things Paradigm can achieve.
